R&R IV Drip Bar

We recently collaborated with a small yet ambitious start-up IV business that features a well-credentialed ex-nurse and her dedicated emergency response partner. Together, we worked closely to develop a distinct and memorable brand identity that could be effectively translated across various platforms, including physical signage, the company’s website, and their social media channels. In addition to this, LightDark also took on the responsibility of designing and managing the website, which now includes integrated scheduling services for the convenience of their clients.

Brand Identity + Squarespace Launch for a New Wellness Business

Why it mattered
Launching a wellness business requires immediate credibility. For R&R IV Drip Bar, the brand needed to feel clinical and trustworthy—without sacrificing warmth or approachability—while supporting online booking from day one.

The challenge
As a first-time business owner entering a competitive IV hydration market, R&R needed:

  • A distinctive brand identity that avoided generic “medical spa” tropes

  • A flexible website that could scale from basic services to e-commerce

  • Clear visual hierarchy to reduce hesitation around booking medical services

Design Approach
LightDark developed a modular brand system centered around a custom ampersand motif, designed to subtly reference clinical precision while remaining friendly and modern. Multiple logo orientations were created to support signage, social media, and digital touchpoints.

On the web, we launched a Squarespace site with integrated scheduling, prioritizing:

  • Clear service differentiation through iconographic “cards”

  • Fast scanning for first-time visitors

  • Mobile-first booking clarity

Impact

  • Enabled online appointment booking at launch

  • Established a flexible brand system adaptable to new services and locations

  • Reduced friction for first-time customers navigating clinical offerings
